Red Head - Scouted Location

A while ago I was looking on Google Earth to find some nearby location to photograph.
I found this spot at Red Head about a 30 minute drive from my house.

On Sunday my dad took my for a driving lesson and I drove out to the spot and we had a look. The whole strip of coast is very accessible and there are plenty of good rock formations, and due to all the recent heavy rain fall and flooding a lot of sand has been washed away leaving more of the rocks exposed.

I'm planing to photograph it at sunrise some time this week

Best thing about it it that its right near a holiday park that I'm staying at for a weekend in September

That's great. You will be able to take heaps of photos!

I'm off to Western Australia in September for 2 weeks and will take plenty of photos too, especially of the pinnacles.

OMG that is so weird! I have stayed at that Caravn park before!

I recognised the beach at the bottom of you photo and the rocks right at the edge of you screen cap ([link]) this is exactly where I took these four photos!

Not to impressed with the results as it was at dusk, I'd love to go back and do it at sunrise one day!
