Duke of EdHad another Duke of Ed walk last Saturday through to Tuesday, it was a great trip and I cant wait to do it again next year, all 70km's of it

The first two days were easy, just walking along tracks and roads. The last two days however were a lot harder, the third day I was given the compass and told to lead every one through Barrington Tops bushland for about 20km. I couldn't believe it when we came over the last hill and we were exactly where we were meant to be, I was so proud of myself

I was charging blindly downhill through the bush with 17kgs on my back at some stages just to fall into some creeks, really it was so much fun

The fourth and last day was along an over grown road that was covered in thick vines and all manner of other spiky plants resulting in lots of cuts. All along the trip I had branches flying into my face and mainly my eyes were being hit, luckily enough there all right and my photo taking eye is all good

There were plenty of opportunities for me to take photo's as the Barrington area is a beautiful area full of creeks, rivers, waterfalls, and many other photogenic landscapes. Although the camera and tripod added an extra 3kgs it was worth the it for the shots I got, Ill be uploading the photos over the next week.
New GearMy filters arrived on Tuesday, I'm really happy with them and cant wait to put them to good use in a few weeks time when I'm spending a weekend with my extended at the beach.
FacebookI decided that I'd make a Facebook fanpage for my photography, Ill be putting up all the little things that I'm doing that are to small to write a whole journal about. Like when I'm going out for shoots, and when I start to order businesses cards for myself, little things like that. If your interested here is a link
