I prefer this shot but wouldn't mind seeing it in colour, i feel that the black and white takes alot away from the drama in the scene.

If you keep it in black and white i think it could adjust the levels a little to make it look a bit more lively.

The composition is good keeping well with the rule of thirds, but i find the bottom right corner is a bit distracting as it makes the shot feel too bunched up in the top left.

Looks like a great location, ill have to check it out some time.

You did really well despite the horrid weather we've been having up here :clap:

Not sure I understand your issue with the composition but it will be the same as the coloured verison I just posted called Crossing the Sands [link]

The bottom left hand side of the photo just seems a bit too empty, the 100 word minimum makes me ramble on a bit
